A Trip to the Homeland

Yes, I am home. I have had two weeks of no house cleaning, grocery shopping, dinner cooking, and very minimal mothering. Now I am back. Oh how my life thrills me! So maybe I'm being a bit dramatic but it has taken 24 hours for my children to start whining, crying, demanding, etc. Grandma where are you?

Our trip was fun. I got to see old friends and family, some of whom I had not nearly enough time with (Amber!!). The girls played and played and have come home exhausted but happy, despite my previous statements, to see their daddy. I don't have much time but I'll slap a couple of pictures up for your viewing pleasure.

ps. Have you seen Mamma Mia! yet? Loved it!

This is how I knew I was truly home...redneck newlyweds...

It was so great to see you, even though it was only for a bit. We'll take what we can get! Biggest regret is not getting a good pic of the girls together. Sniff sniff! Oh well, I guess there will have to be a next time!

Love the pictures... looks like you guys had fun. I am sad that things didn't work out either. I actually had to go to the hospital again on Monday and just got out today.. I wrote about it in my blog. I am so sick of hospitals!
