We spent a ton of time just laying around and taking naps but we did some stuff in Grand Lake, the town that is about 15 minutes away. We rented a boat and had lunch on the lake...
Hiked to Adam's Falls...
And got some yummy ice cream...
We would feed the kids dinner and then have adult time on the patio...
And we roasted marshmallows for S'mores!

It was fabulous family time and we are sooo going back. The cabin was beautiful and secluded and mmm...would be perfect on a winter day I'm sure!
So now I'm back to life...Accounting and World Religions class, laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc..but Anna starts preschool on the 4th and we are both looking forward to it...but I'll save that for another post!
ps. yes, the hair you are seeing is the Katie cut, but unstyled (hello, vacation!) and without the extreme bangs...I just couldn't do it; I kept seeing myself in high school and I do not want to look any younger than I already do!

I too love the hair and it totally looks adorable even though you say it is "un-styled." Oh vacations are the best. We just got back from McCall and I already long to be back there! It looks like you guys had a blast. I love that cabin too!

So. Incredibly. Jealous. Sigh. I can't wait to relax and have fun in the bitter cold winter when I come to visit. HURRAH! And I like your hair. I would like to cut mine off too. Or trim off an inch maybe. :)
