Update what?

I'm sick...my legs ache like nothing else, I'm freezing cold (unless I'm trying to sleep then I'm sweating), my head feels like it is full of cotton balls with a mini-hammer inside banging on my brain every time my children yell. Yet here I am, trying to keep up with all of you. People keep asking if we are happy to be here...that is hard to answer. I am happy to be here, but I will be happier when I am in my home and my things are not spread between 3 different locations.

The first time Anna stepped outside when we got here she said,"What is that smell?". I had to laugh. Granted it had just rained so that makes the lovely smell of manure a bit more potent, and we were kind of surrounded by fields, but in that moment I knew I had returned. I went and visited a friend of mine today and was expertly navigating the curvy, twisty, buggy-traveled, back country farm roads that make up most of this area. I remember how confused I was when I first moved here and thought I would never be able to find my way anywhere, but I guess it is just like riding a bike!

I applied for a part-time job at the bank I used to work at...I am supposed to hear back the middle of this week, so tomorrow? Thursday maybe? I never thought that would be where I would end up, but it all just fell into place so quickly that I can't question, just have to keep stepping forward.

We are so excited to move into our place. For some reason we just feel really good about this house and can't wait to get our new lives started. Anna has a kindergarten interview in a few weeks and it will be nice and close to our house...which is in East Earl, PA for those who are curious.

Matt loves his job, which is so nice to hear. He loves coming home tired after working full work days, five days a week. We haven't started looking for a church yet, but we will wait until we are fully moved and settled. There are soooo many, we'll see where we get led.

I know this is the most random post ever, but my brain is really not firing the way it should be. Sorry about that. Hopefully soon I can find my camera and take some pictures...

I think we are sharing the same head issues!!! Hopefully we will both be over it soon.

When I read your post, it's like reading about us a year ago. I remember feeling like there was SO much to do and yet you can only move forward as certain things fall into place. Switching banks, licenses, etc was a pain because we didn't have a permant address until 6 weeks after we were here. But you do some how muddle through it! Look for the good things in the midst of the up-heavels!

Love you guys!
