Motivate Me!!

Bad Blogger. Yup. No excuses. Other than the fact that nothing too exciting is going on. Unless you count the day we went to a friends house for a BBQ, and all of the kids were playing out front while we chatted on the back porch, and we realized that Libby and her cousin Avery were not to be found, then Avery's dad found them around the block, alone, as in they took so many turns they probably wouldn't have been able to find their way back. Good thing it was a quiet, low traffic neighborhood. My mother's heart tries to just see the funny cause anything else will cause deep fear at would could have been. But no, just funny right!?

Don't they look innocent? We have discovered that when these two get together they need to be supervised!


Or you could hear about the fact that we went to the beach house again a couple of weeks ago. But we will probably do that a lot this summer and I don't want you to get tired of beach house posts.

Or the fact that Libby refuses to finish this potty training thing we are trying to accomplish. She is so close, so close in fact that I just want to give up and stick her in pull-ups all day! Sick of it I tell you!!

I could tell you that as of today we are officially going Dave Ramsey crazy. Cash only, strict budget, crazy. I have some small job stuff coming up but I'll post about that in a week or so. Otherwise we wait and see how God is going to help us out of this hole we have found ourselves in. Life is so much better when you don't have to rely on your own strength!

But maybe I'll just tell you that I need some motivation in my life. I find myself sitting at home all day and accomplishing nothing. I am so close to being done with school (6.2 weeks!) that even that is an afterthought until I absolutely have to sit down and do homework. I'm going to start changing things around here. How, I'm not quite sure yet, but it will include meal plans, weekly schedules, and (budget-friendly) projects. Hopefully that will also include some part-time work on the side of some sort. I'm looking forward to our Idaho trip because it will give me a much needed break and time to process...I love processing with my mom. She tells it like it is and I love that.

So for now I will go because we are having a small BBQ here tonight and I need to clean. Small as in 10 adults and 11, yes 11 children. At least I only have to make a salad!!
