Playing Catch-Up

CRAZY!! Life is crazy. We went to Idaho for vacation, Anna turned 5!, and I have exactly 18 days of school left. I'm also waiting to hear about a job, baking for Sara at New Holland Coffee Co., and trying to be a wife and mother. CRAZY!

So here is an update of the past couple of weeks. There will hopefully be more pictures to come and multiple posts, but this will give you a taste!

First, Idaho. We went home for a week for vacation, but also to celebrate my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was such a great time and we got to see family that we haven't seen in 10 years...some of my mom's cousins came that she hadn't seen in 25 years. It was such a testimony to the people my grandparents are. It was so great to be able to honor them and bless them. I am a blessed girl. I was able to attend my great-grandparent's 50th when I was 9 (20 years ago!!), my dad's parent's 50th when I was 18, and now my mom's parent's at age 29. Three sets of grandparents that have hit 50 years! That says something in this time of broken marriages and homes. My dad's parents are actually at around 61 years now! We had a blast and played non-stop. Anna and Libby met some new cousins and went 100 mph the whole time. I've never seen them so tired!! I wish I would have been able to have more time there, but that is life!

Check out this cutie!

Love you mama!

Sisters!

I also got to reunite with a bunch of friends that I was in youth group with. We were together all of the time in jr. high and high school...went to camps and on our first missions trip together. We haven't all been home at the same time(we missed you Maria!!) in forever so we had to snap a photo.

And then on Tuesday...Anna turned 5! She got her kindergarten information yesterday and it actually became real. I have a school-aged child! We had a small family party here for her because I was not about to throw a big bash after getting home from vacation. There are also pictures of that to come that are on Aunt Sara's camera. (Is it obvious yet that I need a new camera?)

This picture was taken by a photographer friend of mine while we were home and I love it! She is growing up!

And I think that is all for now. There is more but I have things to do...gotta head to the beach house again...darn!
