Where did the time go? Off to school...real school. Like, gone 7 hours, eat lunch there, see you later school. But what fun! I'm so excited for all that she is going to learn and experience. And I'll be honest...just having one at home, one who still takes an afternoon nap, is not bad either!
And it wouldn't be right if she wasn't in the picture too!
*Side note...we got a surprise check in the mail, so we get to go buy a camera!!! I could not believe it! So now I'm asking for suggestions...what is your favorite point-and-shoot?

I love that our posts often echo each other because of how similar our lives still are (and obviously, because of the ages of our children, always will be!). She look so grow up. So pretty too!
Oh dear Lord. HOW is she that old? HOW? Your children are so adorable that my heart actually hurts when I see pictures of them. Sigh. I miss you guys so much. So proud of Anna. :)
anything Cannon! for real. i think you will love any of the Powershots. i still have my little one, and it takes great pics.
also. 1st grade!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is such a big girl!
wow. first grade!! I remember when you first brought her home to the base... Crazy how life flies by...
also, I second Amy, CANON is my vote... I have the SX200 IS... 12.1 megapixels but takes amazing photos.. has some fun extras and you can shoot in DSLR mode too.. big lense but still "point and shoot"
PS the camera I described has a glorious rechargable battery that lasts me WEEKS without needing to be recharged... takes HD video & did I say it takes amazing photos ;)
