I haven't seen my parents since last Christmas. Yuck. On the one hand I try not to complain because I still have both my parents, and they are still very happily married, and well, I'm
BLESSED. But sometimes I do complain because I have never gone this long without seeing them. And worse than that, my KIDS have never gone this long without seeing them. At least we have the fabulous technology of fast internet and web cams so we do get to "see" them. But it's not the same.
This is what grandma does to see us...she sits, delayed, in snowy city airports
But then she gets to cuddle and I think that makes it worth it
My dad, affectionately known around here as Papa, sits and watches Barbie Princess movies...he's pretty popular because of that
He also does the crazy thing pretty well
They are my parents and they are the greatest,
And they are coming!!! For Thanksgiving!!! 18 sleeps Papa and Grandma...we are counting down!

It's worth every minute. Counting too, so hard to stay focused. Arms ready for hugging...
I think it's been about a year since I've seen your parents too! And I don't have an excuse!! I miss them...and you!!
