More Meat

Man, God is giving me all sorts of stuff to chew lately. I'm loving it! Like my friend Karisse said, "You don't realize how dry you are until you get a drop of water" (roughly quoted). And let me tell you, the past couple of months I've been getting waterfalls...so refreshing!

Another new blog I frequent is Ann Voskamp's A Holy Experience. She's got some good stuff. She also wrote a book that I have a hold on at the library, One Thousand Gifts. I'm thinking it's gonna rock my boat.

Anywho, here is a quick quote from Ann's blog that reached out and grabbed me today. It goes right along with where I'm at right now.

"Isn't up really down and down really up when you're in Christ? Isn't the point that we want to give our lives away? How do we give our lives away? Is that what it means to be centered on Christ, the God who so loved, He gave?"

BAM! There is more good stuff in the post, but that little paragraph is going to be swimming in my head and heart for the rest of the day. I may be doing a lot more processing on here in the future, just to forewarn you. I seem to do better at journaling when I can just sit and type and not have to write it on actual paper. Not sure why exactly. Please dialogue with me if you feel like you have anything to add.

I dialouge well this way too! And that was a pretty good sum-up of what I said! :) I've heard that book is good, and is where the "1,000 Thankfuls" came from, even though I never read the book! :)

I think processing while typing is easier, too. Can't wait to get a window into God's work in you, I know it will challenge and inspire me!
