Yes, Libby found a pink highlighter. She is the complete opposite of Anna. I never worried about Anna getting into anything. She never ate crayons, wrote on herself, got into cupboards, ran off into the street (granted, we didn't live on a street...). But this girl, she is a mess! How true that no two are the same and those of us who think because we've got a couple of kids know what we are doing are mistaken. Because you may know how to take care of a baby, but watch out for about 18 months on...you are in for a surprise lesson in parenting all over again. But oh, how I love them!

Trouble!
This is what I found today...

It looks like she has the chicken pox - poor girl! Oh the fun you'll have keeping up with her!
Thanks so much for Avery's birthday gift! Today she was shoveling dirt with her new shovel and pail. It was the perfect thing for her!
So maybe we should avoid that long-awaited play date! You would see a Libby impersonator when you meet Claire! Currently she is sporting a purple marker design on her stomach and neck. Yesterday, she climbed onto our kitchen table, dumped an entire bottle of Karo syrup onto it and proceed to literally glue herself to the table (think fly on fly paper!). Getting the two of them together might be disastrous. A girlfriend of mine says the second child is often a terror because they aren't getting enough attention. Not sure if I believe that theory, but Cora sure didn't pull these crazy stunts and we had a lot more one on one time so who knows. Anyway, adorable picture. Cute chubby legs too!
Um...I thought she had been scratched up by a viscious cat. I literally freaked for half a second before I saw the word "highlighter". Phew. I miss you and your arty children.
Hope you guys will be on the mend soon!
You had asked where I got Avery's dress - I actually bought it from Rachel at Mary's yard sale. It was one of Emily's. I love little girly sundresses!
heeheee....this is how my sisters and i were. sarah (the oldest) was very much like anna...and then jessi came and she was double the mess of libs...and then there was me... practically perfect in every way... ;)
