Candace and I went to the same church in Oregon while I was in high school. She is now on staff at YWAM Colorado Springs which is great to have her close by. I also went to D.C. with her last spring when I attended the IJM prayer gathering. She met a boy named Gil and they fell in love...so the obvious step would be to tie the knot! They got married last night at a pretty park in Manitou Springs, CO. The setting was casual and the reception was a BBQ with a live jazz band in said park. It was relaxed and fun...and so fitting of the bride and groom. It was great to see some old friends from church.
