And while I do not consider myself to be what is being referred to as a "Twilight Mom" I will say that I enjoyed them. Yes, they are written for teenagers, and yes, they are about vampires, but the author is talented. She knows how to weave a story and keep you guessing. Besides, you know me...any book that causes a ruckus or is insanely popular is just begging me to read it. I read all of the Harry Potter books and the Golden Compass series just to really see if they were what everyone said they were. So how could I resist the series that was sweeping the teenage girl population of the world? Impossible!
And I will even admit that it could be fun to be a vampire for a day or two...a vegetarian one of course! I could even go as far as to say that it is easy to find a stone cold, sparkly skinned, piano playing vampire attractive. And yes, when the movie comes out on DVD I will rent it...because I enjoy a good brainless movie when Matt isn't around. Judge me if you want...but read them before you do!

I'm so glad you are on board! I knew you would enjoy them. I haven't met anyone that hated them. They sucked me in, and I agree it was because of the author's writing style. I am eager for the movie, but at the same time hesitant because I have my own pictures painted in my mind and I'm not sure I want to mess with that!
I got sucked into the Twilight trap too! I am now on the fourth book. I have been assured by many that there is closure. I hope that all is well.
Hey! Thanks... he is adorable! I love it so much just watching him grow... crazy how time flies! Can't wait to see you guys in June.
Ok, I must be really really out of it. I've never heard of these books and they are really popular?
Maybe I should get out more :)
Welcome to the club. I enjoyed them as well.
