We said good-bye this morning to our friends Mark, Mary, Olivia, and Alicia. They are friends from Pennsylvania and we had the best time hanging out together. The girls are all about a year apart so we had ages 4, 3, 2, & 1 running around in our house. There are dolls, clothes, and pretties everywhere! Anna and Olivia had an amazing time together and all I have heard all morning, and will hear for the next two months until we see them in PA for Christmas is: "Oh mom, I really miss Olivia. I really want to see her".
The best of friends!
The boys went to an air show, golfing, and enjoyed watching the Phillies win some games towards the series. While the boys were drooling over fighter jets and such we took the girls to Focus on the Family's Odyssey-inspired play place. They loved it!
Mary and I, when not taking care of the 4 rowdies, also got to do some shopping and a nice dinner out. I also took her to Archiver's and she about passed out. I do that to all of my scrappy friends to use a bribe so they come back and visit me! We also took them to Garden of the Gods and downtown for a meal at yummy Il Vicino.

Our family...stupid shadows
All of us!
An excellent weekend of food, fun, and lots of laughs. We are so glad that we get to see them again so soon!
Isn't she funny?!
Now I have kids with runny noses and coughs (Anna had to miss school today) who will be taking nice long naps later! As for me, well I'm in Week 7 of my current school block so I've got some major research to do!

lookin' hot there andrea! sure do miss you!!
Friend visits are the best; it is just getting your life and schedule back in order after they are gone that is so hard. Looks like you guys had a blast! Cute pictures too!
Mark's first comment..."Can everyone see that picture of me?" Umm...yeah!
I can't get over how cute our girls are! Can't wait to see you in Dec. Olivia has definitely picked up some new phrases from Anna.
