First, I'm starting a movie club...of sorts. A couple of years ago I stole my moms idea of watching all the movies that have been nominated for best picture since the Oscars started. I haven't been doing very good so I thought I'd extend an invitation to anyone who wants to join me. I thought we could do one movie a month and chat about it...I even made a special blog for it! In case you don't know this about me I am a movie junkie...love 'em. If you are interested there is more info and the movie choice for May here. And I thought if anyone here wants to join me we could get together to watch. And if you aren't local and want to form a little group that would be fun too! Just let me know if you want to join us!
Next, I made homemade strawberry freezer jam last week! Matt's mom makes it and from the first day I had it many moons ago I loved it. I decided that I needed to learn how to make it...and I did. It was easy...and sooo yummy! It is a bit runny so I'm not sure if I let it set up long enough but it works! I know, so domestic...
This is one of my favorite things about living in Pennsylvania...fresh lilacs for my table...the smell is divine! And I have 3 huge bushes in the backyard to keep my house smelling yummy for weeks! Aren't they pretty?
I think that is all for the random post this morning. It is a bit early to be thinking and writing but I have had a packed week. I only have 10.5 weeks of school left and have a bit of "senioritis"! Come on July!!
