Celebrate!

So many things to celebrate! First is the obvious that I am done with school and started my new job today! I was way nervous but so far so good. We just kind of went over basic stuff today and tomorrow I start learning the computer system and getting into the nitty gritty. I am excited about the opportunity this is for us to not only put my education to good use, but to work on getting us out of debt. I'm still working on child care, but the company is so flexible which is such a blessing.

Being done with school is the biggest relief! I handed in my last assignment on Saturday night and Sunday just felt so stress free. For the past two years I have spent Sunday nights finishing all of the homework for the week. I hated it. I just wanted to relax with my family but school always dictated life. This Sunday we went to church, took the girls to the park, went to lunch with friends, came home for a couple of hours to rest, and then went swimming that afternoon. We didn't get home until 8:30 and it was FABULOUS!! I'm even a bit bored in the evenings now and I love it! I'll have to start finding projects to tackle with all of this free time!

And last, but most definitely not least, is that Matt and I celebrated our 8th anniversary last Tuesday! 8 years and more in love than ever. What a man. I won't go all mushy, but our marriage has gained so much strength these past few years dealing with some of the obstacles we have faced. I thank God for a husband who loves me the way he does...and who loves my children so unconditionally. I am blessed!
