Matt woke me up at 3:30 am this morning with these words, "Honey, our neighbors car is on fire". As I gained consciousness I realized my room looked like a disco with flashing lights. He opened the blinds behind our bed to this site...
Yup, it was sure on fire. I took more pictures, but due to my most high-tech, super-stealth camera none of the others turned out. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the flash at 3:30 in the morning. So we sat there for a while watching, I snapped pictures and Matt filmed with the video camera. Aren't we cool!? Matt finally went outside to see if he could find out what happened and ended up talking to the Joe Wenger farmer (that's very conservative Mennonite to you non-Lancaster peeps) that mows the fields by our house. He didn't know what had happened so we'll wait to see if it makes the paper today. His only words of wisdom were, "I guess he won't be takin' that to work in the morning".
I'm sitting here trying to come up with something funny or profound to write and my brain just isn't functioning. So, the end.
