Libby has done it again...cracked us up. The kid is a riot! And this one, well this one needs to be documented. So back story...my family (the original 4 Obenchains) loves this movie:
Once we were older it was tradition to watch it while decorating the tree. Jared and I can throw quotes back and forth like nobody's business ("Fixed the newl post!"). Then Matt comes along and has just kind of joined right in...definitely his type of comedy. To keep this short and get to the point, Matt and I always quote this scene but will change the wording depending on the situation:
So, I think little Libs picked up on it somewhat. But realize it has been at least a month since we've said it. On Friday night we were leaving to go to a friends house. The girls were getting bundles in coats and all that fun winter stuff and Matt was trying to get them out the door. He looks at Libby and says, "Let's go" where she replies with, "Um Todd, I don't have any shoes on". Funniest thing ever...especially because she had the tone of voice down exactly. So I'm sorry if most of you think this is quite a ridiculous waste of a post, but I don't ever want to forget this one! Love that crazy little girl!
