So, I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite things...chocolate chip cookies. Ok, um random right? But let me explain. First off, I love a good, homemade chocolate chip cookie. When I'm in Asia or Africa that is the first thing I start to crave. I would pay out the nose for a fresh, warm cookie with a tall glass of ice, cold milk. But here is what I think is the genius part. To the person who thought of cooking them in bar form in a cookie sheet...I salute you. Perfection I tell you, pure perfection!

(Please ignore my stained cookie sheet. Thank-you)
Look at that! On one hand, look how much time you are saving. You aren't standing in the kitchen filling pan after pan of small little spoonfuls of dough and pulling them out every 8-10 minutes. No, spread it in the sheet, set the timer for 20, and BAM...cookies done. And the other great aspect of making cookies this way is the snack factor. I can have a big piece or a small piece. If I need a hit of chocolate (which I do quite often lately) I just cut a thin little slice. Or, when the kids are off in dreamland, I can slice myself a big 'ol chunk and savor it with my tall glass of milk. So thank you cookie genius, wherever you are. You have made my day!
