Boy, you kids sure know how to make a girl blush. Thanks for all of the sweet comments you left. Like Kelly said, it felt good to call it out. When it's spoken it loses its power. But that's for another post. : )
I've added some new reading to my blog list and wanted to let you know about it in case you are looking for new stuff to chew. These links will also be over in my blog roll. Right over there ------->
1} My cousin Kim is a photographer in Seattle. If you live near there you should call her because she does awesome work. So, if that's your thing you may enjoy looking at her blog here:
2} I found Lil Blue Boo from reading a post at Jones Design Company. LBB is written by Ashley, an extremely creative, funny, wife and mother of one who has recently undergone intense cancer treatments. I love some of her sewing projects, even though they seem above my level, and the fact that she's not afraid to talk about her coffee enemas. Curious now, aren't you? You can catch up with Ashley here:
3} Daily Grace is authored by one of our favorite YWAM teachers, Chris Lautsbaugh. Chris is actually from Lancaster County and attended Worship Center. He lives in Muizenburg, South Africa now with his wife and two little boys. He runs the School of Biblical Studies and is basically a Bible master. His blog posts fall into the categories of grace, leadership, missions & culture, Bible study, and other random stuff. If you like a bit to chew on now and then, he's got good stuff here:
4} If you want up-to-date information on modern-day slavery I'm finding that CNN Freedom Project has some great resources and articles. Join the fight here:
I think that is all of the new stuff. I've discovered Google Reader and now read all of my blogs through there. It's so much easier to keep up that way than it was trying to read off of this page. I've added an email box that you can use to keep updated on my posts. I don't think I'll post the link on Facebook every time just to keep some stuff a bit more private...if that's possible. Maybe I'll try to add an RSS feed thingy on here too in case that's how you read blogs. I want you to be able to have all of my wise words when you need them. {Snicker} I might even try to put some fancy header up there at the top. We'll see. Oh, and if you read something you think I'll enjoy put it in the comments! I'm always looking for new reads!!
It's Monday and I've got a busy week ahead of me. With only 3 days of preschool and 13 days of 2nd grade left I'm itching to have summer vacation. Have a fabulous week wherever you are!
