Before They Go

I'm the first to admit that I'm no green thumb. If something that I plant actually grows, it's by chance. And if it thrives? I just figure God decided to do my gardening for me that time. I wanted to capture some shots of flowers I planted this spring before autumn sets in and things start disappearing. This is the first year at this house that I've done more than a few flowers by the main entrance...and I'm so glad I did. I've so enjoyed the pops of color that catch my eye when I walk past the window.

Vinca and Coleus...and a cute little Libby.
I love this Coleus bush. I planted it on recommendation and I'm so glad I did. It thrived and I love how it looks. Will definitely be keeping these on the list for the future!

Had to capture the peepers.

All of the flowers are Vinca. I love them. If you want something to thrive in the sun, they are your flower.

Impatiens and another type of Coleus. Please disregard my weeds.

Yup, more Vinca!

I told you I like Vinca...

And now for the hearty, common petunias.
It's so green and luscious here thanks to lots and lots of rain. Kind of weird when I know other parts of the country are dry and on fire. I'll try and send some rain your way!

Matt and Will over visiting "Grandpa" Jim across the street.
The weather is at a sweet 78 degrees and the windows are open. Ahhhh....
